Design your first set and card

Open the web client and enter the API’s full address, such as http://localhost:15100. Choose Connect to server, then sign in or create an account. Accounts and permissions belong to that server. A new account may have read-only access until an administrator grants editing permissions.

The browser remembers server addresses, but keeps sign-in tokens in memory. Reloading requires sign-in again and preserves the selected server and destination. Change server clears the current session and asks you to resolve unsaved edits first.

Overview shows real collection counts and recently edited content. My work separates records you created from those where you are currently the last editor. It does not provide a full history of every contribution.

Use Games & collections to open a game, then browse its sets, cards, definitions or templates. A set page lists its cards. Permitted accounts can create games and sets or edit their translated display names. Sets also have a release date. A game’s stable identifier cannot change once created because installed templates depend on it.

Search everything searches names and readable text across the content models. Narrow results by type, game, set, language, date, contributor or card definitions. Advanced card conditions compare resource values or card order, with all or any matching. Filtering, counts and sorting happen on the server; the URL retains the query and view. On mobile, use Filters & search to prepare filters, then Apply search.

  1. Choose Create a card, or open a card and choose Edit card.
  2. Select its game and containing set. Existing cards cannot move between games.
  3. Add names and flavour text in the languages you need. Each language code must be a unique, valid two-letter code, such as en or ja.
  4. Enter its card order and optional resource numbers. Blank resources remain unset; zero is a real value.
  5. Select categories, types, rarity, resource types, ruleboxes and actions. You can create a shared definition here, then select it. Editing an existing shared definition happens on its own page, where you can review the affected cards.
  6. Choose a compatible visual template and save explicitly.

The desktop form scrolls while the preview stays visible. Mobile puts a compact preview above the form, with Collapse and Full screen controls. Changing a field updates the draft preview after a short delay; previewing does not save anything. The status explains when a preview is updating or out of date.

Templates are game-specific. The bundled historical example supports ptcg; other games need a compatible server-installed package. Card thumbnails in collections summarise content, while detail and writer pages render the actual template.

Choose Save changes or Create card to write to the server. All translations in the form are retained. Navigation warns before discarding unsaved edits.

If another editor changed the same record, the server rejects the old version. The card writer keeps your draft, shows the newer server version and offers Download draft before you explicitly load that version. Draft downloads are a recovery aid; JSON import is not yet implemented.

If your session expires, sign back in with the same account in the recovery dialog, then retry the operation. The mounted form remains intact. There is no automatic recovery after reloading or closing the browser.

Visual templates lists installed packages. Choose a template and a saved card to inspect its real output. Administrators can install or update a validated ZIP. Permitted accounts can deactivate a package or restore an installed identifier. Installing another game’s template does not convert an existing card to that game.

Print & export selects a game and optional set. Prepare JSON export creates a snapshot of all saved translations and readable definitions, followed by Download JSON file. A snapshot accepts up to 1,000 cards and does not replace a database backup.

For printing, choose A4 or Letter, card slot dimensions, copies and a starting card. Content cards work without a template, or you can use saved templates or one compatible template for the sheet. Choose Prepare print sheets, review the result, then Print / Save as PDF. Each batch contains at most 90 copies. Print at 100% scale with browser headers and footers disabled. Check long content and template margins before printing.

Administrators use Administration to manage roles and user assignments. The API enforces permissions independently of visible controls. See the administration policy and the implemented workspace guide for the current capabilities and limits.
